Not the Warning but the Fact

We inform and warn India’s government to stop the continuous injustice against the Muslims.

Return all the states that were seized from the Muslims. We are that “nation” which never forgets its history and repeats its history over and over again. The fresh examples of which are Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Somalia and Kashmir.

Whatever you had to do you have done and what we had to endure we have endured. This is now our innings and we won’t let go of it. We will play our innings in style.

We know the Indian government won’t take this warning seriously. We are determined that this warning be made real and therefore you have already witnessed its vivid example in Mumbai.

Hindus, do not think India’s ATS and army are laced with modern weapons and are therefore courageous.
This attack is a reaction to those actions that Hindus have been carrying out since 1947. There will be no actions now, only reactions and they will continue until we have avenged every injustice done to us. It will continue till we take back all our seized states.

It is now time that Hindus give up thinking that martyring of Muslims’ mosques, weakening Muslims’ economic condition through riots, and putting educated youths in prison will weaken our confidence. We will not let that happen, not at any cost.

Nortel Networks Corp, North America’s largest maker of telephone equipment, posted its biggest net loss in seven years and announced plans to cut 1,300 jobs after customers scaled back budgets.

Asked if there would be layoffs in India, Nortel Asia spokesperson Matthew Wray told TOI that the company has not provided any geographical breakdown to the job reductions. “In general, our policy has been to reduce jobs in higher cost parts of the world where we can, and to move resources closer to where our business opportunities lie,” Wray said, indicating that job loss in India, if any, would be limited.

India is a low cost destination and one of the company’s faster growing markets. In India, Nortel has about 1,000 employees (out of its total global strength of 32,000), and additionally has some 2,500 employees working for it in companies like Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Sasken and Infosys. The Toronto-based company’s third-quarter net loss amounted to $3.4 billion. That included a $3.2 billion expense to write down the value of part of its business and deferred tax assets.

The company’s chief executive officer Mike Zafirovski has sought to shore up cash as he struggles to turn the company around. Customers, which were already moving away from Nortel’s older technology, are now scaling back spending to cope with the financial crisis. Zafirovski is seeking a buyer for Nortel’s ethernet
networking unit to help revive profit.

“The difficult credit markets and slowing capital spending trends will make it more difficult to sell this business than Nortel originally expected,” Nikos Theodosopoulos, a UBS AG analyst in New York, said in a report last week.

Patna: Kundan Prasad Singh’s family was on Monday busy making preparations for Diwali when the news came from Mumbai that his son Rahul Raj was shot down by the police. The shocked father said he wanted an independent probe into the incident.

“We want justice. My son was killed in a fake encounter. It was a big conspiracy and a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) probe will expose the truth,” Singh said here.

“I will approach court for a CBI probe,” he said.

Raj, 25, was shot in a city transport bus in Mumbai by the police after he attacked the conductor and fired in the air, according to Maharashtra officials.

Singh said he had never expected such a tragedy to take place a day before Diwali. “It was beyond my wildest dreams,” Singh said in a choked voice.

He said he failed to understand how his son was killed. “He was innocent and had nothing to do with any (political) activity,” he said.

The officials in Mumbai said Rahul had raised slogans hailing Bihar and Patna.

While Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, speaking in New Delhi, criticised the Mumbai police action, the state government in Patna announced it would send a senior police official to Mumbai to inquire into the matter.

A group of angry students protested the killing and blocked the busy Nala road here.

The state police alerted all railway stations and deployed police forces to prevent any untoward incident in retaliation.

“I advocate four things that are necessary to remove terrorism. First of all, citizens should be more alert and vigilant and thus complement the efforts of the law-enforcing agencies. Secondly, there should be one intelligence agency in the country.

“Thirdly, courts should work towards speedy trial and disposal of cases pertaining to terrorism. Lastly, we must wipe out poverty through economic progress,” the former President said at a function organised by city-based SS Khanna Girls Degree College.

Google’s social networking site Orkut on Thursday banned a community named as ‘Indian Mujahideen’ following the serial blasts in the national capital on September 13.

“Google strongly condemns illegal activities and those that encourage terrorism and violence. We take abuse on Orkut very seriously as such activities diminish the experience for our users,” a Google spokesperson said.

In an email to media organisations, Indian Mujahideen, the terror outfit that had claimed responsibility for the July 26 Ahmedabad blasts, said it had carried out the serial blasts in Delhi.

“The communities and profiles indulging in illegal activities are a clear violation of our terms and condition. We treat requests from law enforcement agencies, coming in through the appropriate legal process, with priority in terms of reviewing them and take prompt and effective action if the content report violates our terms of service that prohibit illegal activity,” the spokesperson said.

On Orkut , one can find communities dedicated to education, peace, health, Tsunami relief, the environment and discussing ways to eradicate poverty.

The Mumbai police on Wednesday arrested five persons in connection with the serial blasts in Ahmedabad . All five arrested hail from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh .

They were arrested with explosives, detonators and guns, said the Mumbai Crime Branch. One person Afzal Usmani arrested for placing the bomb at the Ahmedabad civil hospital and stealing cars used in the blasts.

Mohammed Sadiq Sheikh, one of the founding members of Indian Mujahideen [Images], is among the five persons arrested by Mumbai Crime Branch on Wednesday.

Mumbai Police Commissioner Hasan Gafoor claimed that the police had foiled a major terror attack in Mumbai, which was the next target of the terrorists.

In an effort to tide over rough weather that has gripped the aviation industry, Vijay Mallya-promoted Kingfisher Airlines is cutting 300 jobs, besides returning surplus aircrafts.

“As part of a concerted company-wide effort aimed at minimising the impact of the ongoing turbulence faced by the aviation industry, Kingfisher Airlines has, over the last six months, embarked on a series of restructuring measures designed to achieve cost savings and rationalisation and operational efficiencies,” a company spokesperson said.

“As a result, a set of 300 employees have chosen to move on and have parted ways with the company and/or put in their resignations,” he added.

The carrier is also returning surplus aircrafts to lessors, which are now redundant consequent upon route rationalisation, he added.

“We have already returned two aircraft and are closely monitoring aircraft utilisation,” the spokesperson said.

Elaborating the reasons behind downsizing of staff, he said as the process of integration of the two entities (Kingfisher and Simplifly Deccan) nears completion, the carrier examined the complete organisation structure of the airline and mapped the skill sets of the existing talent pool with the projected talent requirements of the company.

“Many employees were counselled on their career path progression and best utilisation of their individual skill sets,” he said.

As a token of goodwill, the carrier is offering all these employees a severance package equal to two months gross salary for every completed year of service (subject to a minimum of 3 months pay-out), the spokesperson said.

Kingfisher Airlines currently operates 424 domestic flights and two international flights with a total of 86 aircrafts.
