Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2009) is an all-India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
GATE 2009 score is valid for ONE YEAR ONLY from the date of announcement of the GATE 2009 results.
The GATE 2009 scores to both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be provided on the GATE websites.
GATE 2009 results will be announced on March 15, 2009 at 10:00 hrs. at GATE offices and on the websites of IISc and seven IITs. at www.gate.iitb.ac.in or www.gateonline.iisc.ernet.in or you can find it from www.gate2009.org

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all-India examination administered and conducted in eight zones across the country by the GATE Committee comprising faculty from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordinating Board - GATE, Department of Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), Government of India.
# GATE 2009 results will be announced on March 15, 2009 at 10:00 hrs. at GATE offices and on the websites of IISc and seven IITs.
# GATE 2009 score is valid for ONE YEAR ONLY from the date of announcement of the GATE 2009 results.
# The GATE scores to both qualified and non-qualified candidates will be provided on the GATE websites.
# The GATE results of the qualified candidates may be made available to interested organizations (educational institutions, R & D laboratories, industries, etc.) in India and abroad based on written request by the organization and on payment. Details can be obtained from GATE Chairmen of IITs/IISc.
# The evaluation of the ORS is carried out by a computerized process using scanning machines, with utmost care.
